Gotcha. I'm using Instant Ocean, might switch to Red Sea if this keeps up. How often do you dose mag?

I've got the same issue with mine. Gonna try cutting the lights like koral said. What salt mix are you using?

I've heard pearling can also mean the water is super saturated with oxygen. Maybe your filter is churning more after the change. What kind of filter are you running?

I've been trying to gently push the roots down, but it's a bit of a losing battle - every time I manage to get one settled, the one next to it decides to pop up instead. I think I'll just let things be for now and see how it all settles in on its own.

Ignore the algae in the photo, I'm still getting the hang of this 6-week-old tank.
