Your first picture is a female, and the second one's a male. Females have tails that are rounded, while males have that distinctive shovel shape. Mbuna cichlids aren't exactly ideal for a community setup. Their territorial nature and aggressive behavior can make them a handful. You'd also need to be careful when mixing them with other cichlids, so some research is a must before bringing them home.

Kribs are brilliant parents, best to just let them get on with it. The fry are already eating the infusoria on the bogwood, that's what they're sucking away at. You can get liquid fry food if you want, but honestly, just grinding up the flake small is fine, and if that's not enough, the parents will ...
