Re: Finding great fish shops in the netherlands: favourite stores and aquatic sections
You've got a few great options to consider in the Netherlands. I've got some recommendations for you - Utaka in Amersfoort, Lambert Heijnricsstraat 2-4, 3817ER, is definitely worth a look. Aquabeek in Handel, St.Magdalenaweg 6, 5423XK, is another one to keep in mind. De waterlelie in Enschede ...

Re: exploring the world of rare freshwater aquarium fish
I'm working on an article about rare aquarium fish for TFF and I'm looking for some ideas. What are some of the rarest fish you've come across that I could include?
You've got your subject right there... They're not a common sight in your average community tank, despite being relatively ...

Re: encountering a brick wall when attempting a water change
I'm still trying to get back on track after a series of medical procedures from Jan to Mar this year that really messed with my memory. Today, I was getting my gear ready for a water change, and I just froze - I had no idea what to do next. I sat there, holding the gravel vac and tube, trying to ...

Re: exploring the world's rarest aquarium fish
My rarest aquarium brand find is an old stainless/chrome frame tank that I had for over a decade - the kind held together with tar. Sadly, it got damaged during our last move, and I've been unable to track down a replacement frame since. Replacing the glass is relatively straightforward if you're ...

Re: exploring the world's rarest aquarium fish
Honestly, I'm not big on specific tank brands, I just go with whatever works best for my setup.
I'm with Emeraldsea on this, I don't bother with specific brands. As long as it's quality and gets the job done, I'm good.
I've got a few branded tanks, but honestly, most of mine aren't. Being ...

A functional tank is key for me. Safety is also non-negotiable. Beyond ...

I think it's pretty clear he just sent the wrong ones over. Spotted ones aren't gonna mimic the tiger pattern, so yeah, looks like a mix-up with the order.

No need to worry about the current tank inhabitants, I think it's time to let the little guy join the community. Being in the open tank will likely boost his growth rate even more.
