My SPS do better at lower alk, weirdly. Run mine at 7.8, but I've got softies mixed in. Maybe it's the competition?

I made a bit of an impulsive decision and added a female krib to my 200l tank - I'm not proud of it, but I took the advice of the woman at the fish store. I think getting a male Krib might be the way to go, she could then take out her frustrations on him instead. I've had experience with a pair of kribs in the past, the female would often pick on the male but it seemed to work for them. Although, I do recall that after they spawned, the female passed ...

I picked up 4 of these fish, thought they'd be shelldwellers, but they're not really using the shells like I expected.

You might wanna check out A5 Aquatics, heard they've got loads of Malawi cichlids, not local breeders I know but might be worth a look
