Re: can discus eat frozen bloodworms?

Mine do. 50g tank, temp 84F, pH 6.7, with a sponge filter and weekly 25% water changes. They go nuts for bloodworms, swimming all over the place. Also got some rummynose tetras and a few amano shrimp. Substrate's black sand, with some driftwood and Java fern. How do you guys store your frozen food ...

Re: Discus water hardness explained

Thanks for the input, everyone. Sounds like I'm overthinking the hardness thing. Gonna up the feeding to three times a day and stick with my current water routine. Nitrates are under 10ppm, so that's not the issue. Appreciate the advice!

Re: Discus Tank Help Please...!
Hi Habit, I'd suggest considering a shorter height for that tank. Maintaining a 36 inch tall tank can be a challenge - have you thought about how you'll handle that?

I think Liz has black rams from Tom's line. Not sure if she's shipping at the moment. Check this thread: http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showth...tch-Black-Rams

Wild greens have a hold on me - my absolute favorite. If only I had the space.
