Definitely worth a shot! Just keep the temp stable during changes—I use a drip acclimation method to avoid shocking mine.

I've found that smaller, more frequent changes work better than big ones. I do 10% every 3-4 days in my 5 gallon, and my betta's way more active. Also, keep an eye on your nitrates—anything over 20ppm means it's time for a change.

I think daily water changes could help, plus a thorough gravel clean. Keep a close eye on her, see how she responds. I'm gonna tag @coltin, he's got a lot of knowledge on this stuff.

If possible, I'd consider quarantining her to prevent any potential infection from spreading to your other fish, assuming you have some. What's your tank's current stock, by the way?

I'm really worried about fin_tank and I was thinking maybe if we could see him in action, it might help figure out what's going on. Could you post some pictures of him, and maybe even a short video of him swimming around and resting under the Zorchzon sword? That way, we can get a better idea of his ...
