Thanks for all the input, everyone. I think I'll play it safe and drip acclimate them. Better to be patient than regret it later.

Just picked up some Emperor Tetras from my LFS. The guy there said drip acclimation isn't a big deal for them, but I've heard mixed things. What's your take? My tank's at 78°F, pH 7.2, and they're going into a planted 20-gallon with some Corydoras.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I'd love to hear other people's experiences, especially with LPS in similar setups.

I've got some experience with a similar setup, running a 54G corner tank myself, albeit with a different focus. Getting good filtration going in these systems can be a real challenge.

I'd like to point out that with your nitrate levels at 5ppm, I'd bet my money on your phosphate levels being on ...
