Also, make sure your light is strong enough. Weak lighting won't give you pearling, no matter how good your CO2 is. I learned that the hard way with my first low-tech tank.

My Monte Carlo does this too, but only if I do a big water change. I've got it in a 10 gallon with inert sand and root tabs. Pearling usually lasts about 2 hours, then settles down. How long does yours keep it up?

Really pleased with how they're doing, had them for a month now and all 5 are thriving, just like I expected from my research. They're super active and not shy at all. Will post some pics soon, just gotta figure out how to do it from my phone. What about you, what do you keep with your pets?

I hadn't noticed the flame angel bothering my LPS corals, but now that he's gone, I'm curious to see if there's any change in their behavior.
