Don't stress it. If it's working now, you're good. Just keep an eye on the temp. Jagers are solid.

Re: best water flow for Pocillopora

Flow needs can vary by specimen. Start with moderate flow and observe. If polyps stay retracted, reduce flow by 10% every 2 days until you see improvement. Also, ensure your alk is stable—swings stress them out faster than flow issues.

I think she's a real beauty, but personally I'd hold off until any water issues are resolved. Just my two cents, I'm only thinking of what I'd do in your shoes.

Re: effective methods for removing aquarium algae

I've always found it frustrating when some YouTubers and websites claim that having a "clean up crew" means you can just sit back and let your fish or snails do all the work. It's misleading and makes it sound like you can just dump the responsibility on them, when in reality, it's just not that ...

Re: Can female betta fish have tankmates

I'm gonna have to disagree here, danios are quick, and I think they'd stress the betta. You're gonna get mixed views on this, but for me, I wouldn't risk it, even with a female betta.

Re: choosing compatible tankmates for angelfish

I think it's worth trying to feed the angelfish separately to see if that reduces any aggression issues. It's possible that if it's well-fed, it'll be less inclined to chase the neons or corydoras. I do recall reading a thread recently where people were discussing the minimum tank size for angels ...

That's a fantastic deal you've snagged, I'm a bit jealous. Looking forward to seeing how your 280L project unfolds, you've got a world of possibilities with a tank of that size.

Re: Why are my floating aquarium plants deteriorating?

I don't fert, that's the issue.

My setup's working, 1ml of Flourish for 5 gallons, 1-2 times a week. I've got a small school, 4 guppies and 4 endlers. Lighting's on for 12 hours.
