Mine did this when I first added them! Took about a week to settle. Are they new? If so, give 'em time. Also, what tankmates you got? Nippy fish can make discus nervous. My crew chilled out once I moved the tetras to another tank.

I've kept Sterbai Corydoras with Discus for years. They're a solid match since Sterbai handle higher temps. Just avoid sharp substrate—their barbels are sensitive. Mine share sinking pellets fine, but watch for food competition. Your params sound good, just keep nitrates under 20ppm.

I'm actually surprised it took me only 2 weeks for ammonia to drop and another 2 for nitrite, all with just ammonia and no additives.
