Thanks for the tips, y'all. Gonna tweak the whites and check bulb age. Tank's 18 inches deep, and I feed Reef Roids twice a week. Appreciate the help.

actinic lighting benefits
Been running actinic lights for a few weeks now, but my Zoanthids aren't popping like I expected. What's the deal? Tank's a 40-gallon breeder, running two AI Prime HDs at 60% blue, 20% white. Params are stable, 8.1 pH, 1.025 salinity, 0 nitrates. Got a mixed reef with some LPS and softies too.

I've decided to go for it and order a frag. Always good to double-check, since some corals can be real tank-killers. Don't want to end up with a GSP situation on my hands, that's for sure.

Dragon soul favia brain coral care and discussion
I'm thinking of buying a piece of this coral, so I was hoping someone could fill me in. Is it a quick grower, or does it take its time? Also, how easy is it to remove from the rock if you need to frag it - can you do it without pulling the whole rock out of the tank? Anything else I should be aware ...
