Re: Misled about aquarium filters?
Happens to the best of us. Filters can be finicky, but once they're dialed in, they're golden. Hang in there, Finley!

Re: Misled about aquarium filters?
Nah, not all filters are trash. My Eheim Classic is a champ, but it took some tweaking. You gotta play with the media setup sometimes. What's in your canister, Finley?

Re: Forgot to add water conditioner
Good call. If the params are stable, you're probably fine. My Cardinals are tough as nails, they've survived worse. Just keep the lights low for a bit to reduce stress.

Re: Forgot to add water conditioner
Nah, don't freak out yet. I've done this before with my 55 gallon, and the fish were fine. Just add the conditioner now and keep an eye on them. If they start acting weird, do a small water change with conditioned water.

Re: My anemone aquarium setup
Hey everyone,
as most of you are aware, my system crashed and I'm currently setting it up as an anemone aquarium with various types of clowns, and I'll be transferring the water from my other systems.
I have a couple of questions - how strong should the lighting be for this setup?

Re: My anemone aquarium setup
this really gets my back up, Seffie and Colin put in a lot of effort with their replies, and you just disregarded their advice.
They've spent time researching for their own tanks so they could help you, and you just ignored them. Not only that, but you've wasted their time too.

Re: information on percula clownfish
Clownfish are super active, and I mean super active - they're territorial too. I'd say you're looking at a minimum of 100 litres for just one pair, to be honest. Once you've kept them, you'll see what I mean, they're always on the go, very active fish, just my two cents.

Re: information on percula clownfish
Honestly, I think 65 litres is a bit cramped for a clownfish, but to answer your questions, one clown will host an anemone.
As for happiness, a single clown will be alright on its own, but they do seem to thrive in pairs. If you do decide to keep one, it'll likely develop into a female over time ...
