They are actually blennies not cichlids, but thanks for the input, dartonix - I'll definitely keep an eye on the water parameters, I've heard that's crucial for breeding.

It's tough, I've been looking through and searching, and now I've got so many possibilities - not just an all male peacock tank. One thing's for sure though, my Compressiceps male and Red Empress male are staying put.

I'm pretty sure Pseudotropheus lombardoi - Kennyi can change sex, so that's probably what's happening here, they're switching sex.
