Honestly, if you're dipping and QTing, you're already ahead of most folks. Just don't stress too much. Corals are tougher than they look, unless they're Acros. Those things are divas.

I'm kinda lazy with QT, but I always dip. Bayer works better than CoralRX for me, kills everything. My tank's a 75-gallon with mixed LPS and SPS, no issues so far. But if you've got expensive stuff, maybe don't cut corners like I do.

Mine bounced back when I added aquarium salt. Just a half teaspoon per gallon, but it made a difference. Could be worth a shot.
