Re: pH stability in Betta aquariums

Nah, RO's too much hassle for me. I just let my tank do its thing. Fish seem fine, even with the swings. Maybe they're just built different.

Re: Adding live rock to an aquarium with established fish

Nitrite, Nitrate and Ammonia all 0 for last couple of tests. Shopkeeper said it was cured, but I'm not taking any chances, giving it a bit more time.

Re: Adding live rock to an aquarium with established fish

Thanks for the advice, got the cured rock today and did as you said - transported it in water and it's now in a bucket with a heater. The shopkeeper mentioned one piece still had a bit of a smell so best to leave it a bit. Does anyone know roughly how long I should leave it in the bucket before it's ...

Re: Frogspawn coral dying

Thanks for the advice, I've got a 20g sump in the setup too. Going to double-check all parameters.

My pH is stable between 8 and 8.3. Temperature is at 77-78. Alk is at 7.6 and Cal is 420.

Re: Frogspawn coral dying

haven't changed the setup in over a year, it's been in the same spot. I've got very bright LEDs and 2 MP10s. Tank's a 40 breeder
