A few things to consider. Tank size, was it fully cycled before adding your Albino African Cichlid? Any tankmates?
Also, water parameters would be helpful - ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH. Those are usually included in standard test kits.

Blown away by the number of little ones, 20-30 is a crazy amount of babies, I've got a lot of work ahead of me to keep them all thriving.

That's gonna be awesome when it's all set up, I'd love to see it. Lionfish are really something special, their appearance is just so unique and gorgeous.
