Having some issues with uploading a photo, I've tried multiple times but it keeps saying the file is too large, even with just a single picture.

I've noticed my oldest and largest male African yellow has some algae growth on him, it's been there for a bit now and he doesn't seem too fussed about it. Was just wondering if this is something that's fairly common and if so, does it tend to happen more as they get older? Am I missing something in ...

Another tip: if you're using LED lights, keep them on for no more than 6-8 hours a day in low light. Longer can cause algae, even if the light's dim.

Hey, I've had great luck with Amazon Swords in my low-light tank. They're not as demanding as people think. Just make sure you've got a decent substrate, like Flourite, and they'll do fine. Also, Vallisneria is another good one, spreads like crazy.
