Re: why do my plants look droopy?
Thanks for all the advice, everyone. I'll try reducing the light, adding some root tabs, and maybe tweak the water hardness. Appreciate the help!

Re: why are my corals shrinking?
What's your temp at? Swings above 80°F can cause shrinkage. Also, how's flow in the tank? Stagnant spots might be an issue. My MP10 fixed similar problems.

Re: why do my plants look droopy?
Droopy plants? Sounds like they're not vibing with your setup. How old's your substrate? Sometimes that stuff gets exhausted and plants just nope out. Also, what's your water hardness? Anubias can be picky about that.
Substrate's about a year old, and my water's pretty soft. Maybe I should look ...

why do my plants look droopy?
My Anubias and Java Fern are looking super droopy lately. Tank's a 20 gallon, got a Fluval light running 8 hours a day, and I do weekly water changes. Parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate. What's the deal?

Flow's huge. I run MP40s at 30% and my Torch and Frogspawn are ...

Re: Which corals are most colorful?
For pure vibrancy, it's hard to beat Euphyllia. My torch coral has this electric green tip that's unreal. Just give it space, they can get territorial.

plant species
I'm planning to add Java fern, hornwort, green cabomba carolina, dwarf sagittaria subulata, and cork screw vallisneria to my tank. Just wondering, are any of these plants root feeders that would benefit from root tabs, or can I just stick with liquid fertilizer for all of them?
