Agreed on the numbers. And if you wanna add more later, Rummy Noses are a safe bet. Just quarantine everything first, Discus are fragile when it comes to new tankmates bringing in nasties.

Cardinal Tetras are a solid choice. They thrive in the same warm, soft water as Discus and add color without competing for space. I've kept 20 in my 55 with no issues, just make sure they're well-fed to avoid nipping. Also, consider Corydoras Sterbai for the bottom, they're hardy and won't mess ...

The CO2 and ferts have worked wonders on my lotus - from Sunday to today, the transformation is amazing, it's literally doubled in size.
