Dual heaters are a vibe. Redundancy's key if you're paranoid. Just don't go overboard with wattage.

Just a heads-up, driftwood can sometimes grow weird white fungus when it's new. Don't freak out—it's harmless and goes away on its own. My Discus actually nibble on it sometimes. Tank's been running smooth for months now.

Ain't no way 55g cuts it, bruv. You'll stress 'em out proper. Go big or go home. My 6 Discus are living their best life in a 125g with a FX6 filter, blackwater setup, and loads of hiding spots. Temp's at 86F, and I dose tannins weekly. They're less skittish and show better colors in a spacious tank.

I've got a bit of a mystery with my albino red cover discus. In normal lighting, the colour is really nice - a lovely red with a white halo. But here's the weird part: when the lights are on, it pretty much goes white. Turn them off and it's red again. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this ...
