One more tip, if you see black spots on the leaves, it's probably algae. Reduce light or add some floating plants to shade it. Anubias Nana grows slow, so algae can outcompete it if you're not careful.

Mine melted at first, freaked me out. Turns out it was just adjusting. Now it's chillin' on a piece of cholla wood. Tank's got some neon tetras and a sponge filter. Light's on for 6 hours a day, seems happy.


Yep, melting is normal. Anubias Nana is tough once it settles in. I'd avoid high light ...

Yep, impeller's sketchy when it gets dirty. I've had to clean mine twice this year already. Also, make sure the hoses aren't clogged with gunk. My 407's hoses were half blocked last time I checked.
