Yo, I feel you on the shrimp worry. I used eSHa Exit once and my Neocaridinas were totally fine, but I've heard some folks say their shrimp got sketchy after using the 2000. Maybe cut the dose in half just to be safe?

I'd go with a split chamber too. Gives you more control over the fuge environment. What kind of substrate are you planning for the refugium? I've had luck with a mix of sand and crushed coral.

I think someone mentioned trying raisins or something similar, but honestly, peas seem to be a hit with them.
