Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try cutting back on food and maybe add some shrimp. The slime is clear, so it's likely biofilm like you said.

That slime is usually biofilm, which happens when there's excess organic waste. How often do you feed your fish? Overfeeding can cause it. Also, check if your filter flow is strong enough to circulate the water properly.

I had the same issue until I switched to a dual-sensor ATO. The redundancy cuts down on errors. Also, topping off with pre-mixed saltwater instead of RO helps if your evaporation rate's high.

I had the same issue until I added liquid fertilizer. Anubias feed through their leaves, so try dosing something like Seachem Flourish twice a week. Made a huge diff for me.
