Don't sleep on water conditioner either. Some tap water has chloramines that basic dechlorinators won't handle. Seachem Prime's my go-to.

I think Percula clownfish would actually thrive in a 10-gallon tank. Their smaller size compared to Ocellaris clowns makes them a more suitable fit. As long as the water quality is top-notch, they should be content. It's worth noting that in their natural habitat, Percula clownfish tend to stay ...

Attaching it to a flat rock base seems like a solid solution - that way, you can move the whole thing around as needed.

I've got this big wall hammer on my sand, and it's super top-heavy, so it keeps tipping over. A fish only marine tank, what is the ideal stocking level?

Hello,

I'm looking for some input on stocking levels for my two saltwater marine tanks, a 16 Gallon and an 8 Gallon. I've built them specifically for small fish, no corals.

For the 8 Gallon, I was thinking:
- 2 Common Clownfish - they're pretty small and shouldn't cause any issues
- 3 Hermit crabs ...
