Female betta appears extremely bloated

I'm really struggling with my female betta - she's been severely bloated for weeks. I've got her in a divided tank with a male, but they barely interact and he doesn't seem interested, so I initially thought it might be eggs, but she's not dropping them or reabsorbing them.

I just got a new female betta and I'm totally stumped by her colors - she's got this dark brown thing going on with chocolate undertones and blue streaks in her tail, plus a white face. Not quite sure what to call her, she's not a chocolate betta but definitely not black either. Anyone have a name ...
