Vallisneria's the way to go if you want a clean look. Just keep an eye on your nitrates, it's sensitive to spikes. Hornwort's messy when it sheds.

What's the easiest low-tech plant you've kept alive in a basic setup? I've got a 10-gallon with sand substrate and a cheap LED light, no CO2. Looking for something that won't die on me.

Gonipora spawning observations
I'm pretty sure my Flowerpot Gonipora is developing eggs - I've noticed these tiny buds at the center of each head. Could these be eggs? Has anyone else seen this happen with their Gonipora? Unfortunately, I'm having trouble uploading photos from my Mac.
