Yeah, and if you wanna spice it up later, throw in some Moss. Java Moss or Christmas Moss, doesn't matter. It'll grow anywhere, just gotta trim it now and then.

Dude, Amazon Swords are the bomb for low-tech. I've got one in a 15-gallon with gravel and a basic LED. It's huge now, just gotta give it root tabs every few months. Easy peasy.

I just thought I'd share this info, didn't mean to stir anything up. I was surprised to learn about this too, and I figured others might be interested. I also didn't know about the lionfish thing, that they shouldn't eat freshwater fish. It just seems like a lot of hassle and expense to buy marine ...
