Who Gives A Fish Forums

My tank's 60 litres, I've taken in this butterfly ram from a friend who's switched to marine and so far, she seems happy.

Considering my female GB's recent issues, I'm wondering about tankmates. What other peaceful fish can I keep with my butterfly ram that won't stress her out further?

My bristlenose is also coming up for air now and I'm having some issues with the diffuser, it's not working right, could that be contributing to the problem? And yeah, it was a german blue ram.

My ram cichlid passed away today. I noticed last night it was hanging out at the surface a lot, opening and closing its mouth repeatedly. Apart from that, everything seemed fine. Can someone please help me figure out what went wrong?
