I've been using a mix of sinking pellets and frozen foods for years, and my corys are thriving. One tip: feed them after lights out if you have aggressive tankmates. Corys are more active at night and this gives them a better chance to eat in peace.

I've had great results with Hikari sinking wafers. They're packed with nutrients and my corys seem to love them. I also toss in some blanched zucchini or cucumber once a week for extra fiber. Just remove any uneaten veggies after a few hours to avoid messing with water quality.

My clownfish never do that apart from when i walk past or watever, but the firtideflow always bolts for cover, even when the lights are on, its like they're on high alert or something.

Good point. If you're planning to add more fish or plants down the line, go with the Oase. The extra media space is worth it.

Another option is the Eheim Classic. It's not as fancy, but it's bulletproof and whisper-quiet. I've had one running for five years with no problems. Just gotta clean the impeller every few months.

The Fluval 407 is a good choice, but if you're looking for something with more customization, check out the Oase Biomaster Thermo. It's got a built-in heater, which saves space, and the pre-filter is super easy to clean. I've had mine running for two years with zero issues.

I've heard of people using algae as a resting spot for seahorses, maybe something like caulerpa? Not super familiar with them myself, but it might be worth looking into.

is this a cleaner wrasse?
so can i keep one of them. also, i've got my eye on a coflake beauty and a hi fin clown goby - would that be too many fish for my 140L tank, considering i already have 2 clown fish and 1 dart fish.

I'd be willing to spend a pretty penny on a yellow fungia, but it really depends on the quality and size of the coral. What's your budget looking like for this purchase?
