If the odor persists, check for residue in cracks or grout. Prime can seep into porous surfaces. A stiff brush and more baking soda might be needed for deep cleaning.

Seachem Prime contains sodium dithionite, which breaks down into sulfur compounds. That's why the odor is so strong. Open windows for ventilation and use baking soda paste on the spill area. Let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping. Avoid mixing with other chemicals.

Avoid silver dollars and goldfish. They'll decimate any plant life. Stick with small, peaceful species like ember tetras or celestial pearl danios. They're plant-safe and add color.
