In addition to alleopathy, you should also look into the concept of 'coral wars'. Some LPS corals have sweeper tentacles that can grow quite long and cause damage to other corals within their reach. PH 6.5, KH 40, GH 100.
Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it.

I'm in an apartment, so I have no idea where the water comes from. I'll be moving out in a few months, so I'm fine with using 100% RO or mixing it with tap water - whatever works best.
