Mine died too until I started adding Indian almond leaves. Cheap fix, might be worth a shot. Also, how's the tank placement? If it's near a door or window, vibrations could stress 'em out.

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks. Gonna start with Anubias and Java Fern since they seem the easiest. Maybe add some floaters later if I feel brave.

plants that work with tetras

What plants do y'all recommend for a tank with Neon Tetras? I've got a 20 gallon, low tech setup, and my current plants are kinda struggling. Water params are stable, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate. Using a basic LED light, no CO2.

Your tank's overstocked. Discus need way more space, and those Rams aren't helping. You're gonna crash the cycle if you don't fix this fast.
