Check your water source too. Sometimes RO membranes wear out and let through contaminants that mess with pH. Test your RO water's TDS to make sure it's actually pure.

Weird vibe at 40 ppm for me. They ate fine but had fin clamping. Dropped to 15 ppm with double water changes, and it cleared up. Running a sponge filter with peat granules now.

Monitor the pH daily now. If it swings again, consider a buffering substrate like ADA Amazonia. It's pricey but keeps things stable.

I just got this rainbow pectinia from Cultivated Reef and I'm blown away by the size. It's got multiple eyes, the color is insane. The price was a total steal. The staff kept me in the loop on my order, but I had no idea it'd look this incredible.
