Good call. Slow and steady wins the race with phosphates. Oh, and if your corals start looking pale, back off the GFO a bit. They'll tell you if they're hungry.

Yo, I feel you on the algae struggle. Had the same issue in my 40 breeder. Switched to feeding every other day and added a GFO reactor. Phosphates dropped to 0.03 ppm in like two weeks. Corals didn't even blink.

Mine were the same till I switched to live phyto. Now they're chunky. I dose 5ml daily in my 50 gallon, and the whole tank's happier. Also, check your magnesium levels. Low mag can make 'em sulk.
