If bloating persists, try an epsom salt bath. 1 tsp per gallon, 15 mins max. Saved my veiltail last year.

Cut it to once a day, fam. Flakes expand in their belly, sketchy for digestion. Try pellets instead, 2-3 max per feeding. My dude's been chill since I switched.

I'm with greenfox on the soak method. Also, trim any damaged leaves before planting. Less decay, less ammonia spikes. My 20-gallon's plants took off after I started doing this.

I've been trying to help my girlfriend with her 20 gallon saltwater tank, but I'm a freshwater guy myself, so I'm pretty clueless. In my experience with freshwater tanks, I've used plecos or otos to help with algae control. What are some good options for a saltwater tank though?
