One more tip, if you're gonna have plants, consider mixing in some root tabs. Sand doesn't have much nutrients on its own.

If you want something fancier, CaribSea Super Naturals is a good option. It's a bit pricier but comes in different colors and sizes. Just make sure you get the inert kind if you're worried about pH swings.

Frag's gonna take a week or two to settle after the move. Don't freak if it stays closed a bit. Mine looked dead for days then popped open like nothing happened. You feeding it?

Mine thrived low in the tank with kinda indirect flow, but every system's different. If it's reaching for light, def move it up. Sandbed's sketchy long-term 'cause detritus builds up. You running a protein skimmer?
