Re: Colorful stocking ideas for 26-gallon Juwel
Appreciate all the ideas. I think I'll go with Neon Tetras, Honey Gouramis, and maybe some Harlequin Rasboras. Will skip the shrimp for now and stick with Nerites. Thanks again!

Re: Colorful stocking ideas for 26-gallon Juwel
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I'll definitely consider the Neon Tetras and Gouramis. Any thoughts on adding shrimp or snails for cleanup?

Colorful stocking ideas for 26-gallon Juwel
I'm setting up a 26-gallon Juwel and want a colorful community tank. Looking for suggestions on fish combinations that'll pop. The tank has a dark substrate, moderate lighting, and a sponge filter. Prefer fish that are active and easy to care for.

< saltwater
< blocky, like a square brick
> it was this weird mix of purple, brown, and white
> tiny little fins in the front
> stripes all over
> and no spikes, so it's not a puffer ...

Re: Dosing strontium for coral growth
I've never tried strontium. My tank is only soft corals. Do they need it too?
Soft corals generally don't benefit from strontium. It's more for SPS and some LPS. Focus on keeping your water clean and stable. What's your nitrate level? Softies often thrive with a bit more nutrients than stony ...

Re: Dosing strontium for coral growth
Has anyone had success dosing strontium for coral growth? I've been running a 75-gallon mixed reef for about a year, and my Acropora seem to have stalled. Parameters are stable, 8.1 pH, 1.025 salinity, 0 phosphate, 5 nitrate. Lighting is two AI Hydra 32s, 10 hours a day. I've heard strontium can ...
