Patching's sketchy with bottom cracks. Even if it holds, the structural integrity's compromised. I'd retire it and look for a new one.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Managed to move the fish to a spare 20 gallon I had. They're all cichlids, so they're not thrilled about the tight space, but it's better than nothing.
Good call on the temp tank. Watch the aggression with cichlids in close quarters. Maybe add some extra hides ...

That's rough. Glass or acrylic? If it's glass, sometimes stress fractures develop over time, especially if the stand wasn't perfectly level. Had a similar thing happen with my 40 breeder last year. Lost a few tetras but saved the rest.
