Yeah, Anubias can handle a range of conditions, but they do prefer slightly softer water. If you're struggling, maybe test your params and adjust from there.

My Anubias took forever to grow, but once they settled in, they were solid. I've got 'em in a 15 gallon with Amanos and they're doing great. Maybe just give it time?

I'd advise caution, to be honest. The blue assessor tends to be more aggressive than its yellow counterpart, and as they mature, I think it's likely you'll encounter issues in a tank of your size.
