Re: how to monitor Betta fish health

Also, what's his diet like? Bettas can get picky, but variety's key. Mine goes nuts for frozen bloodworms. If he's not eating, that's another red flag.

Re: how to monitor Betta fish health

Yep, water's key. But don't freak out if he's just chillin' more than usual. Mine does that sometimes, then bounces back. You got a heater? They're tropical fish, so temps below 78F can make 'em sluggish.

Re: is keeping sharks as pets allowed?

Don't sharks like that require a huge tank, like a small pool or something? I mean, they're meant to swim long distances, right? Keeping them in a regular tank would be like keeping a dog in a tiny box.

Re: why are my plants not spreading?

Yeah, and don't freak out if they take forever. My Java Fern took like 6 months to finally start spreading. These plants got their own weird vibe, man.

Yo, creekie, maybe your light's too weak. That Aquasky ain't exactly a powerhouse. I had the same issue till I upgraded to a Nicrew. Also, you gonna need more than just Flourish, try some root tabs if you got any substrate.

Re: what plants handle warm water?

Bruh, if you wanna go wild, try Duckweed. It'll cover the whole surface in a week. Warm water's like crack for that stuff. Just don't blame me when you're scoopin' it out forever.

Yo, my tank's a sauna at 85°F and my Hornwort's goin' wild. That stuff grows like it's on steroids. Just toss it in and let it vibe. Sand substrate, basic LED lights, no CO2. Easy peasy.

Feeding tips for Mushroom Corals

My Mushroom Corals aren't looking too hot lately. I've been feeding them reef roids once a week, but they're still kinda shriveled. Tank's a 40 gallon breeder, running a Kessil A360X, params are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 5 nitrate, salinity at 1.025. Any tips to get 'em plump again?
