Re: how to Grow marimo moss balls
I've had mine for two years and they've barely grown, but they're still green and happy. Just make sure they get some water movement to prevent dead spots. Oh, and avoid direct sunlight, it can cook them.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll test my water and start with iron and potassium. Appreciate the help!

how to Spot nutrient deficiencies
My Anubias leaves are turning yellow, and I'm not sure if it's a nutrient issue. I've got a 20 gallon tank with moderate lighting, CO2 injection, and I dose Seachem Flourish twice a week. Any ideas what's missing?

Re: what plants pair well with guppies?
For a 20 gallon, you could also try floating plants like Frogbit. They're great for shading and guppies love the roots. Just thin them out occasionally so they don't block all the light.
Frogbit is a great idea! It's easy to manage and helps with water quality. Just be ready to scoop out extras ...

Re: what plants pair well with guppies?
They'll do fine without ferts, but a liquid fertilizer like Seachem Flourish every couple weeks can help. Just don't overdo it, or you'll get algae.

Re: what plants pair well with guppies?
Guppies are pretty chill with most plants, but they do like to peck at softer leaves. Java Fern and Anubias are great because they're tough and can be tied to driftwood or rocks. I've had success with Amazon Swords too, but they need decent lighting.
