I've got a tank with tiger barbs and want to add some plants that can handle their activity. Any suggestions for hardy plants that won't get shredded?

Could be boredom. Try adding some live plants or floating logs. Mine perks up when I switch things around a bit.

Encrusting all the way if you're new to SPS. Less fussy about placement, and you won't freak out if a fish bumps it. My plating one snapped when my tang got spooked.

Not entirely sure, but I'm definitely keen to find out - I'll swing by your other thread to see what's been discussed so far.
