Re: Restocking my aquarium tank
Considering the bamboo shark, I'd say one thing to keep in mind is that they don't do well competing for food with aggressive eaters. I've read that target feeding the shark might be necessary in that case. From what I've gathered, it can be kept with most of the fish mentioned above, but I suppose ...

Re: cyanobacteria in coral tank woes
Weird vibe, but my cyano vanished after I stopped using Brightwell CoralAmino. Started dosing AcroPower instead. Dunno if it's coincidence, but maybe check your additives?

Re: do you prefer root tabs or liquid ferts?
Root tabs all the way. I've got a 55 gallon with swords, crypts, and vals. Tabs made everything take off. Liquids are great for the stems and floaters, but the root feeders need that extra punch.

Re: need a quick id
I'm not convinced it's a Eunice worm. Could it be a type of Cucumber instead? I'm no expert, but I thought I'd throw that out there.
I found this link that shows something similar - http/images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h...t%3D72%26um%3D1. Not an exact match, but it's worth a look.

Re: Gonipora spawning observations
I think my Flowerpot Gonipora might be expelling waste instead of forming eggs, maybe those tiny buds at the center of each head are just a sign of it getting rid of stuff. Anyone else ever see something like this?

Re: Goniopora care and troubleshooting
I've got three gonioporas - a pastel pink/purple, a deep red, and a bright green. The green one's the oldest, been with me about a year. Six months ago, the red one started to retract, had some RTN which I managed to stop by blowing off the bad tissue. It stayed closed up for about four months. Then ...

Re: Can someone identify these two?
Yeah, they can be intimidating. Had a similar encounter while snorkeling off the coast of the Dominican Republic, really caught me off guard.

Re: Can someone identify these two?
Honestly, I'm stumped on the little guy, but that big fellow looks like a Barracuda to me - the teeth and size seem about right.
