Powerhead's prolly the culprit. Mine hate sudden flow changes. Try pointing it at the glass or dialing it back a notch.

Weird vibe, dude. Had the same thing happen last month. Check your flow—mine was too high. Also, any new tankmates? My clownfish decided to mess with 'em right before they bailed.

True that. And don't forget about root tabs if you're using gravel. Some plants like Crypts really benefit from them. Just poke one near the roots every few months.

Yeah, Amazon Swords are cool, but they can get huge. If you've got a smaller tank, maybe try Dwarf Sagittaria. It's like a mini version and still does well in low light. Plus, it's kinda cute, lol.
