Yep, feed 'em light. Maybe skip flakes for a bit and go with frozen brine shrimp. Less mess, less chance of gunking up the water while you're treating. And yeah, no carbon, like I said. Almost nuked my tank once forgetting that.

Lol, my Gourami once looked like it rolled in salt. Took about 5 days with Ich-X, but they bounced back. Just don't freak out if it gets worse before better, that's normal. Also, skip carbon in your filter or it'll suck up the meds.

Suck out as much of that brown slime as you can, just be careful. And I'd definitely recommend looking into Lugol's iodine, might be worth a shot.

Is switching from fresh to saltwater a challenge?
I'm thinking of making the switch from fresh to saltwater, but I'm not sure when's the best time to do it. Should I hold off until the tank is fully cycled, or can I make the change now? Any advice would be really appreciated.
