A reverse image search on Google mostly turns up Jewel fish, though they're not always reliable.

I started with a small 10-gallon tank on a whim and before I knew it, I'd upgraded to a 220-gallon setup in just two years. Along the way, I set up four 125-gallon tanks and seven smaller ones, totaling 13 tanks in all. The 220 is probably the largest I'll go, unless I come across an incredible deal ...

I was inexperienced, made rookie mistakes, and they paid the price. No, they weren't diseased, just victims of my ignorance back in 2006.

It's tough to gauge the number of betta casualties the store has before opening its doors. This isn't unique to betta, by the way - it's a common practice for other species as well. I'd recommend keeping your betta in a 10-gallon tank, or at the very least, a 5-gallon one.
