Congrats on the new candycane. Mine's been a slow starter, took ages to settle in. Almost 5 months in, still no new heads, but it's definitely getting plumper by the day. The existing heads just keep expanding. Guess that's just the way it goes with reefing, right? Good luck with yours, hope it does ...

Pim catfish might work, but I'd still say Synodontis is the safer bet.

Considering the catfish, I'd recommend something peaceful, like corydoras or otos.

im thinking of switching from a freshwater to a saltwater tank. i've got 2 external filters and a heater already, but whats the rest of the stuff i'd need to get started?
