I'm actually using rocks to create a feature in my tank, not pebbles. I've opted for some blue/black natuflake limestone slabs from B&Q, breaking them up to create a unique design.

Tank is now mature, got some mature filter pieces in both filters, made a big difference.

My stocking idea for 65 gallon is a bit different now,

2 x Red Top Hongi 'Sweden'
1 x Red Zebra
1 x Blue Hap

Wanted -
8 x Yellow Labs
1 x Red Top Swedish Hongi
3 x Perlmutt

Just got everything up and running, temporarily using a trickle filter while I wait for a longer pipe for my external. Ammonia's still on its way, was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I'll start dosing as soon as it gets here.

Got a local guy offering me some seeded media, so that might speed up ...

since my tank matured with loads of filter wool from a mate's tank, i'm wondering if i should up the food intake in prep for more fish. just did a water test and it's all zeros, PH's at 8.2, temp's stable at 26.4-7.

current stock's 2 Swedish red Liongis, 1 red zebra and this hap in the pic ...

Not sure if it's an Ahli, could be a Fryeri.

I recently picked up this electric blue hap, but someone mentioned they thought it was a peacock instead - has anyone else come across this before?
