Help identifying young cichlids
Orange cichlid, I think.
Pink and Blue, and dark one hiding?
Not shy, peach coloured one is a mystery.
Can anyone ID these for me?

Re: less than six months old in a 75g tank
When cleaning the tank, I'm curious - do you guys take everything out or just work around the decorations and stuff?

Re: Maintaining a healthy aquarium environment
I'm a bit concerned that completely stripping the tank will stress the fish out.
Removing everything and rearranging it must be quite overwhelming for them.
I'd rather not risk triggering ICH, that's the last thing I need.

Maintaining a healthy aquarium environment
I'm curious, do you guys just tidy up around your rocks or do you actually move them to clean?
My main concern is that I'm worried if I start shifting rocks, the whole setup might come crashing down.
Moving the plants is easy, so that's not an issue.
Is it just better to clean around the rocks ...

You can find lots of fish on eBay, might be worth checking out.

Re: Is my aquarium fish population thriving?
I've got a nitrite issue.
My ammonia and nitrates test fine, but nitrites are high. I do regular water changes, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I'm thinking my tank might still be in the cycling process - it's been up and running for about two months now.

Yeah, that's one of my loaches, they can be a bit quirky, racing around like that.

Can you spare 60 seconds to reassure a worried newbie about their fish's health?

Re: issues with nitrates in water systems
No expert here either, but I've also been thinking of adding more plants, they're supposed to be good for nitrates.
