Re: best plant Placement tips
It's a HOB filter, but I've got the flow turned down low. Gonna adjust the light and glue the plants today. Appreciate all the help!

Re: best plant Placement tips
Thanks for the tips, y'all. Gonna try gluing 'em to some driftwood I've got. My light's on for 10 hours, maybe that's too much? I dose Seachem Flourish once a week.

best plant Placement tips
I've got a 20 gallon tank with some Anubias and Java Fern, but they're not thriving. Where's the best spot to place 'em? My light's a Fluval Plant 3.0, and I've got sand substrate. Fish are chill, just some tetras and a betta.

Re: What Plants Survive with Goldfish?
Pothos is a solid choice. Just make sure the leaves stay out of the water, or they'll rot. It's a weird vibe at first, but it works.

Re: What Plants Survive with Goldfish?
If you're up for a challenge, try Cryptocoryne. They're slow growers, but once established, they can handle some goldfish abuse. Just be patient and don't freak out if they melt at first. It's normal.

Re: Injured betta fish
Yeah, test strips aren't the best, I'd recommend looking into the API master test kit, it's got a ton of tests, over 800.

Injured betta fish
I'm new here, still getting the hang of things.
My betta's been with me for a bit over a few weeks now. A few days back, I noticed some missing scales, but since it didn't seem to get any worse, I figured he was on the mend. That was until today when I saw this red spot above his lip.
